Now I Can Dream, LLC is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping Adult Black Males and society as a whole to achieve the dream of intellectual, economic, political, and psychological freedom.
Our Mission: The mission of the Now I Can Dream, LLC, a non-profit entity, is to provide mentor and protégé education and training for minority adults within the scope of section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Service Code. The Now I Can Dream, LLC, promotes informal and organic mentor-protégé relationships using workshops, meetings, forums, and other gatherings, both physical and online to make opportunities for connection.
Our Vision: The goal is to help minority adult males build positive self-esteem and self-identity through a relationship with a role model/mentor. By connecting to positive adult male role models, we hope to alleviate the high incarceration and recidivism rates among minority adult males; high unemployment rates among this group; high college dropout rates, and the high rate of HIV/Aids transmission.
Our Guiding Principles: We promote open, honest and long-term mentor-protege relationships among Black adult males. We believe and promote the values of trust, respect, communication, education, standards, and self-awareness - revolving around the core value of commitment.
